HOSTEL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
Consisting of Hostel Managers, Assistant Hostel Managers, Hostel Supervisors, Consisting of Hostel Managers, Assistant Hostel Managers, Hostel Supervisors, Administrative Assistants (P/O) and Public Assistants to perform related functions:-
Placement & Accommodation:
- Planning the placement and registration of student accommodation throughout the study period & semester break.
- Manage accommodation/rental applications by external organisations.
- Updating the data of students staying inside and outside the residential college.
- Manage applications to live off campus.
- Conduct room/house cleanliness inspection (study semester and semester break).
- Manage accommodation appeals.
Service & Maintenance:
- Identifying and filing damage complaints in residential college buildings.
- Supervise maintenance and repair work in the residential college building.
- Manage and report on building cleaning services.
- Student mail management.
Administration & Management:
- Manage and administer the division/section as well as matters related to personnel.
- Oversee policies related to accommodation
- Planning the development of residential college infrastructure & facilities.
- Management of university vehicles supervised by the Student Accommodation Division.
