Career Development, Counseling and Alumni Center (PKKA) is for providing counseling and career services to students and staff in line with UMK's

Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025 under the First Core which is Student Excellence play a role in producing graduates who are skilled, competitive and

compliant industry and employer requirements.

 
GRADUATE MARKETABILITY DATA AND FUNDS SECTION
The Career Services provided are by providing various programs in the form of reskilling and upskilling under the funds of the Ministry 
of Higher Education to obtain Professional Certification as an added value to students and graduates in line with current job requirements.
STUDENT COUNSELING AND CAREER SECTION
Counseling services are managed by certified counselors who are registered with the Malaysian Council of Counselors as 
professionals who can handle guidance andethical counseling. This service is provided to all students either voluntarily or 
referred by certain parties. Guidance services for students will also be assisted by senior students who are trained through 
the Student Pembimbing Club (PRS UMK).

Confidentiality is the foundation that connects trust between counselors and clients in providing the best and most 
effective counseling services. Therefore, counseling services are based on the Counselors Act 1998 and Code Guidelines.

ALUMNI NETWORK SECTION
This section acts as the University's liaison body that works with the UMK Alumni Association to build continuous 
bilateral relations for the benefit of both parties, namely the alumni and UMK as alma mater.
